PUSH :: As a kid my parents started me in sports by putting me on swimming and soccer teams. Over the years I’ve tried many athletic activities including playing volleyball, basketball, softball, running, hiking, rock climbing, wakeboarding, water skiing, snowboarding & skiing, mountain biking, cycling, horseback riding, scuba diving, surfing, river rafting, marathon and triathlon — some, with much more success and enjoyment than others. I hope to continue adding to this list... maybe one day I'll add skydiving or hang-gliding!

SWIM. BIKE. RUN. :: In '95, while coaching swim team in Conroe, TX, I entered, trained for & participated in my first triathlon. I repeated the experience the next year, but when I relocated to Los Angeles, the sport was forgotten. My interest and involvement was rekindled in '03 at the Malibu Triathlon; and in '05 I joined the Board of the LA Tri Club as Managing Director.
